Thomas Rupp was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor's degree in Theater from the University of Minnesota in 2008 and a Master's in Public Administration from Metropolitan State University in 2013.
Thomas is currently a Senior Financial Management Analyst with Hennepin County for the Human Services line of business and fund. He also manages the Hennepin Youth Sports Program, a ballpark sales tax funded program that brings equipment, playgrounds, and facilities to communities in Hennepin County. In 2019, he was elected as trustee of the Public Employees Retirement Association of Minnesota pension funds, representing half a million active and retired Minnesotans in public service. He is currently involved as a commissioner appointed member of the Ramsey County Capital Improvement Plan Advisory Council. Thomas has served as chair and co-chair of the Millennial Employee Resource Group at Hennepin County. And previously, Thomas served as board chair as well as treasurer of a school board.
Thomas brings humor and humility to balance work and life and is a warrior for intergenerational equity. Thomas seeks to learn and build a fundraising network to help achieve dreams of a brighter today, for a better tomorrow.
