Tatiana McKinney is a Middle Social Science Teacher and Assistant Dean of Students at Trinity Preparatory School and loves to educate, include, and empower students to find their voice in her classroom. She has spent the majority of her career in the education industry, gaining experience in the areas of curriculum and instruction, collaborative learning, and teaching strategies. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Missouri-Columbia in Communications with a double minors in Spanish and Leadership/Public Service, she pursued a career in education, working internationally in Beijing China as well as in inner-city schools in New York and Memphis, TN. Tatiana considers herself a life-long learner. With that, she received a Master of Arts in Women's History from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY. Additionally, due to her passion for education, she pursued and received a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in History from Adams State University. While her love for education has kept her excited in her classroom, she also enjoys traveling the world, reading, and taking adventures with her husband.
