Taraneisha Burgess was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she graduated from Palm Beach Lakes Community High School in 2005. It was during these formative years that Taraneisha developed a deep desire and passion for helping people. Upon completing high school, she matriculated to and completed her undergraduate degree from the prestigious Bethune-Cookman University in 2010. With the seeds of compassion and determination deeply rooted in her, she continued her studies, graduating from Chamberlain University and becoming a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016. She is also an ARNP surgical first assistant for Neurosurgery at the Academy of Neurosurgical Physicians. Taraneisha is the co-owner of Family First Direct Primary Care in West Palm Beach, Florida, with a mission to create a healthier Palm Beach County. She is known by her leadership and motivation to get the job done. A natural entrepreneur, Taraneisha is also the proud owner of Vital Vita Wellness, where her medical expertise and prowess are fully displayed. By providing vitamins, wellness and CBD products, she can satisfy one’s rejuvenation and pain needs. Taraneisha is also an active member and deeply involved in a broad spectrum of community organizations: namely, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Black Nurse Practitioners of Palm Beach County, American Cannabis Nurses, Coalition of 100 Black Women, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society (STT). Taraneisha is committed to delivering quality patient care, improving healthcare and fulfilling the needs of her community.
