Stephanie Co has worked in community development in St. Louis since 2010 and has a passion for working to advance racial equity in cities, whether in housing, education, health, or transportation. Stephanie currently serves as Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Beyond Housing, a community development organization based in the Normandy School District, where she supports the organization's operations, housing and infrastructure development, and public policy efforts.
Stephanie previously steered community development efforts in various St. Louis neighborhoods by serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Great Rivers Greenway. She supported the development of a start-up community development organization, and as Project Manager at Park Central Development, where she led resident engagement, marketing, communications, and business recruitment efforts. She has volunteered with a range of affordable housing, education, food justice, and transportation projects. She is currently a board member of Community Builders Network of Metropolitan St. Louis, and previously served on the boards of Citizens for Modern Transit, City Garden Montessori, Garden District Commission, and Botanical Heights Neighborhood Association.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and her Master of Public Policy Administration, Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and Certificate in Policy and Program Evaluation from University of Missouri-St. Louis.
