Sana Amarasinghi is a Strategic PR graduate with a keen sense for political organizing and grassroots organizing. She started her political career as a fellow on the Obama Presidential campaign in 2012 and worked on a variety of campaigns in Florida. In Washington, D.C. she worked at the Foreign Services Institute/DOS with the linguist leaders and Foreign Service Officers, where she awarded a certificate of outstanding business process improvement, customer service, and teamwork. Later, she worked at the USAID/GHSI as a travel analyst.
Today, she is implementing strategies and partnerships for Bring It Home FL, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering local community activists to create change. Sana Amarasinghi earned her Master's in Strategic Public Relations at GW and trained at the Women's Campaign School at Yale University.
