Ronald Elliott currently serves as a Community Outreach Director for the City of Chattanooga. He leads a team of organizers who work throughout Hamilton County, connecting some of the most vulnerable families to energy assistance and other social services.
Originally from Nashville, TN, life led him to Chattanooga to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy and Economics. In 2016 he was presented with the "Blue and Gold Award," the most prestigious award given to students. Since relocating to Chattanooga, Ronald has become actively involved in local and state politics and worked to elect progressive democrats in Chattanooga and statewide. Outside of politics, Ronald works with several civic and advocacy organizations and serves on the board of a local higher education non-profit.
As a son of nurses, teachers, and police officers, his passion for public service has been influenced by his family. Ronald looks to a future where he can continue impacting communities and advancing the work of those who have come before.
