Rianah Alexander
Legislative Aide, North Carolina General Assembly

Rianah Alexander, a native of Charlotte, NC, is a Legislative Aide at the North Carolina General Assembly. She serves as a liaison for constituents and maintains office operations. She graduated from High Point University, with bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Strategic Communication in 2018. After graduation she worked for a North Carolina congressional campaign as a Field Organizer. In this role, she organized volunteers, ran "Get Out The Vote" initiatives and maintained candidate relations in Guilford and Davidson counties.

She is an energetic community volunteer and activist. She is most passionate about women's issues, racial equity and voting rights. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Most recently, she was admitted to North Carolina Central School of Law where she will attend in the Fall of 2020. She plans to continue being an advocate for positive change in her community.
