Reyna Ortiz grew up in Laredo, Texas and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Administration with a certification in Nonprofit Leadership & Management from Texas A&M International University. Reyna began working as a legal research assistant where she has gained invaluable knowledge of the legal field. Passionate about her community she is currently an advocate for the Laredo SCAN Rape Crisis Center, a computer literacy tutor for Literacy Volunteers of Laredo, and a member of Laredo Act. She has also completed an internship with the City of Laredo Community Development as well as an Advocacy Fellowship with MOVE Texas. An avid volunteer, she has given her time to various organizations with the goal of improving her community.
