Rebecca is the Special Assistant on the K-12 Education team at the Walton Family Foundation (WFF). In this position she works on the Education Committee’s governance and K-12 team operations in service of WFF’s mission to improve K-12 outcomes for all students, especially those of limited means, by ensuring access to high-quality educational choices.
Rebecca’s career began in a Washington Heights high school math classroom through Blue Engine, an Americorps program that uses a team-teaching model to increase students’ academic gains and college-readiness. She later joined the National Program team at Teach for America (TFA), where she worked on initiatives such as values-based leadership development, diversity and inclusion training, the TFA 25th Anniversary Summit and the Sue Lehmann Teaching and Learning Fellowship.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from the University of Wisconsin.
