Nida Allam is currently a data analyst working in the technology organization for the private sector. She spends much of her time working to sustain the grassroots connections and resources that she established through her campaign work, especially among minority voters in North Carolina. As Third Vice Chair of the NCDP, she serves as an ally for the oppressed and unheard, and works to establish equality and justice for ALL North Carolinians. Nida also serves as Chair of the Durham Mayor’s Council for Women where she advocates for the rights and equity of Women, transgender, and non-binary community members. Nida is a North Carolina State University alumna, with a degree in Sustainable Materials & Technology, and an Muslim American living in Durham, NC with her husband and two dogs.
