Nick Lennon is a Data Scientist at 84.51. In this role, he leverages customer data and insights to help Kroger and their suppliers make more strategic decisions around their marketing efforts. In 2016, he received his B.S. in Integrated Systems Engineering at The Ohio State University, where he served on the executive board of the university's campus programming committee and was a fellow in the Office of Student Life's premier leadership development program. Following graduation and prior to joining 84.51, he taught algebra and geometry at Taft High School in Cincinnati Public Schools through Teach For America (TFA). As a former TFA Corps member and Obama White House intern, Nick is passionate about government, policy, and community advocacy — particularly as it relates to his hometown of Cincinnati where he hopes to remain. Outside of work, Nick is a graduate of the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce young professional program, Cincy Next, volunteers with Adventure Crew, an organization providing outdoor activities to underserved Cincinnati youth, and mentors through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati. In his spare time, Nick enjoys anything outdoors from cycling to pickleball, and — despite lacking any musical talent — has begun learning to play the piano. He can also be heard screeching with the Sycamore Community Singers every Tuesday morning. Nick currently resides in Over-the-Rhine with his album collection and Keurig.
