Lauren Madden is a native Lexingtonian and proud Kentuckian who lives in Louisville, where she currently serves as Corporate Counsel for Yum! Brands, Inc. Prior to her position with Yum!, she was a senior associate at Frost Brown Todd LLC, where she specialized in regulated businesses, including franchise law.
She is actively involved in the Louisville community as the Vice President of Finance of the Louisville Young Democrats, a member of the University of Kentucky Political Science Alumni Board, and previously served on the Associate Board of Gilda's Club of Kentuckiana. She has led workplace and community fundraising campaigns for the Kentucky Association of Food Banks and the Legal Aid Society, taken on pro bono asylum cases, and was a 2019 recipient of Louisville Business first's "Forty under 40" Award.
Lauren graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School where she was a managing editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the University of Kentucky where she received bachelor's degrees in Economics and Political Science. During her undergraduate study, Lauren specialized in judicial politics, and interned with the Kentucky Governor's General Counsel's Office, U.S. Department of State, and Congressman Ben Chander. She remains an active learner, taking french classes and working as a teaching fellow for the University of Louisville's Franchise Management Certificate program.
