Kristi Lowery
Candidate for M.S., Walden University

Kristi "Meelah" Lowery is an Instructional Design and Technology Graduate Student with a concentration in Training and Performance Improvement. She has the esteemed pleasure of founding the Eta Alpha Pi Sorority, Incorporated, a Bible-based, non-collegiate, social-service Sorority on June 23, 2015 in Tampa, Florida. She holds membership in the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Tampa Bay Chapter as a Communications Committee Hopeful. She holds and associate's degree in Information Technology from Palm Beach State College, a bachelor's degree in International Studies/Criminology from University of South Florida, and is currently working on a master's degree from Walden University.

She has worked in the Information Technology (IT) field for over 16 years in the areas of information technology, IT security, helpdesk, computer support, and data securit.

Meelah hopes to help create intersections between sis-gendered and Trans-identified individuals, create bridges in these spaces, and foster dialogue around the safety, healthcare, and other protections for all Americans.
