A native of St. Petersburg, FL, Kende Clemons, Pharm.D., M.H.A is a clinical pharmacist for Coram CVS Specialty Infusion Services in Tampa, FL.
She is a 2011 graduate of Florida A&M University where she obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy. She had the opportunity to work in community pharmacy as a staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager in both Florida and Maryland. It was during her experience as a pharmacist in Baltimore, MD that she discovered a special interest in educating underserved communities.
In 2018, in an effort to expand beyond the traditional scope of pharmacy practice, Kende obtained her Master of Health Administration from the Milken Institute of Public Health at George Washington University. While in pursuit of her MHA, Kende became a member of Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Kende is most driven by her passion to educate people on issues surrounding women's health. Given her own experience and those of her close friends and family, Kende recognizes the lack of knowledge and access to resources in this area. Kende ultimately seeks to use her experience and knowledge to create a network that allows women to be comfortable to discuss their concerns, supportive to those enduring, and an educational resource to allow women and caregivers to make well-informed decisions in healthcare.
