Kelly McKenzie is a consultant with Accenture, where she partners with clients to facilitate the cultural and organizational changes they need to thrive in the digital economy. In this role, Kelly coaches, mentors, and trains people and teams at every stage of the Agile transformation journey. At its core, the Agile movement centers on people, collaboration, responsiveness, and results. Kelly believes that embracing an Agile mindset engenders new ways of working and creating value.
Before joining Accenture in 2018, Kelly spent 15 years managing strategic programs and technology initiatives in the public and nonprofit sectors. In her quest to make an impact, she worked for an advocacy organization, a non-partisan policy research institute, a community development financial institution, and the Federal Reserve System. A champion for women leading purpose-driven lives, Kelly serves on the board of the Stanford Alumni Women's Impact Network and is co-leading the 2020 gathering of Accenture Women in Agile.
In 2009, Kelly received her master's degrees in business administration and social work from the University of Michigan. Her dual-degree education prepared Kelly to apply entrepreneurial strategies to her work in the social sector and bring greater humanity to her work in the private sector. Kelly also holds professional certifications in organizational change management, team coaching and facilitation, and Scaled Agile transformation. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, where she received her bachelor's degree with honors and with distinction.
A native Californian, Kelly and her husband Ameen live in Grass Valley, CA, where they enjoy the great outdoors and host friends and family visitors as often as possible. Since relocating from San Francisco to the Sierra Nevada foothills in 2018, Kelly has experienced the impact of catastrophic wildfires firsthand and is passionate about creating proactive strategies to address California's fire risk.
