A driver of innovation, transformation and organizational growth with more than 18 years of experience, Keith has served in leadership positions in public and private and higher education sectors overseeing multimillion-dollar operations. He is an expert in developing leaders in organizations and steering process change, strategic planning, and building high-performance teams. He has worked with organizations such as Technical College System of Georgia, Leadership DeKalb, DeKalb County Schools, DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, Renaissance Church of Christ, The Links, DJJ, American Association of Community Colleges, Williamsburg County Development Corporation, Kappa Alpha Psi, and Comprehensive Higher Education Solutions (C.H.E.S).
Keith has held numerous appointed executive leadership roles in higher education, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Staff, Interim Foundation Executive Director, Special Assistant to the President, and Dean of Student Affairs.
Keith holds a Master's of Business Administration from DeVry University-Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from DeVry University. He is also a graduate of the Executive Leadership Academy-TCSG, Leadership DeKalb and the Thomas Lakin Institute for Mentored Leaders for future African-American Presidents. Keith began his professional career in marketing as a consultant and director with Aguayo & Associates. Upon completing his MBA, he became the youngest business professor and trainer with DeVry University, University of Georgia-Cooperative Extension Program and Georgia Piedmont Technical College.
Among his numerous accomplishments and frequent speaking engagements, Keith simply prides himself not on the things he has accomplished, but rather on the things that are really important in his life which are, "faith, family, friends and empowering our communities."
A native of Atlanta, Keith is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and is active in his community as a volunteer for various organizations. He has served on the Avondale Elementary School Foundation as Chair, DeKalb Chamber of Commerce Workforce/Education Committee and Emerging Leaders of DeKalb Committee. He also serves on the Leadership/Vision Team as a member of Renaissance Church of Christ.
Keith is an avid reader who enjoys traveling, collecting and riding motorcycles, cycling, golfing and spending time with his family. He lives in Gwinnett County, Georgia, with his wife Dr. Candace M. Sagers and their two sons.
