Kedrick Jones is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He joined Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas in 2017 as an IT Network Specialist, where he's responsible for overseeing the technology components for the transportation department. Prior to joining Area Agency on Aging, he worked for Arkansas Hospice as an HIM Software Operations Specialist, which consisted of him assisting with EMR/EHR software development, management and training. Mr. Jones is well rounded within community involvement, leadership, healthcare administration, college administration, web design, social media management, business management, software management, end-user training as well as IT support and management. Mr. Jones has been an active member of the Jefferson County Young Professionals Network since 2012. He has held the position as secretary and currently serves as the President of Jefferson County Young Professionals Network which is a program within the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Jones is a certified volunteer ombudsman, volunteer HIV tester/counselor and a mentor. Mr. Jones is a 2018 Leadership Pine Bluff graduate and board member for Leadership Pine Bluff Alumni. Mr. Jones was recently awarded the 2019 Young Professional of the Year Award. Mr. Jones is currently pursuing his master's degree in information technology management at Western Governors University. Prior to advancing his education, he completed his bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. He also holds two associate's degrees, certificates in web design and nursing assistant from Southeast Arkansas College. Mr. Jones long-term goal is to become a senior level manager for a well-known technology or software management company and eventually a business owner.
