Katherine Pantangco
U.S. Senate, Constituent Services Representative

Katherine Pantangco is a first-generation Filipina-American and Bay Area native. She is a Constituent Services Representative for the Office of U.S. Senator Kamala D. Harris, where she serves as a liaison between constituents having issues with agencies under the Department of Homeland Security, Department of State, and Department of Justice. In this capacity, she also serves as a liaison with local and regional immigration enforcement rapid response networks that include pro bono legal service providers and community organizations.

Previously, Katherine worked at the ACLU of Northern California in various capacities. Her proudest role was Program Coordinator, where she built and oversaw the organizing department’s immigrant rights field fellowship program.

In 2015, Katherine interned with the White House Office of Public Engagement supporting President Obama’s engagement with Latinx and immigrant constituencies. In her short time there, she witnessed the power of convening as an approach to bridging our nation’s diverse constituencies to the President.

Katherine earned a B.A. in Sociology and double minored in Philippine and Legal Studies at the University of San Francisco. During the weekends, you’ll find her enjoying dance classes or volunteering with the American Center for Philippine Arts.
