Katharine Heriges is a political and communications professional, born and raised in Nashville, TN. She has served as a campaign manager and strategist to a number of state and local campaigns, including Nashville Metro Councilmember At-Large Bob Mendes and Tennessee State Rep. Vincent Dixie, as well as a Direct Mail Consultant for Councilmember At-Large Sharon Hurt. She is currently organizing statewide in Tennessee.

Katharine previously served as Communications Coordinator to the Tennessee Bar Association, where she helped launch the TBA's first-ever Public Service Academy, a training program for lawyers who wish to seek local public office.

Aside from her professional work, Katharine serves as the Selections Co-Chair for New Leaders Council Nashville, a progressive leadership training fellowship which she was also a 2015 graduate of. She was a part of the 2017 class of Emerge Tennessee, which trains women to run for office, and in 2019, was appointed to represent District 19 on the Tennessee Democratic Party Executive Committee.

In her free time, Katharine enjoys Nashville's vibrant underground music and comedy scene, learning Korean, and cooking.
