Kait Bell has lived in Cincinnati since graduating from Miami University in 2016, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. She has worked with the City of Cincinnati's Department of Community and Economic Development for three years where she works to communicate complicated government programs and projects to citizens to improve government transparency through public engagement, outreach, and digital communications.
Kait is a passionate advocate for women, supporting women's issues and female entrepreneurs through her design work. She believes in the collective power of women when they communicate and work together to take meaningful action to support one another's interests. Most recently, she has been working with the Women's Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation on their "Appointed" initiative to design a comprehensive tool to connect women interested in serving on local civic boards and commissions with government officials.
Kait believes in the ability of art and design to transform activism and the way that government entities, politicians, and citizens communicate with each other and create positive change for their communities. It is her goal to continue to promote this belief through her work with the City of Cincinnati, local small business owners, politicians, organizations and nonprofits.
