Always seeking personal and professional enrichment, Julie Sliga is a lifelong learner and dreamer. Julie has a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She completed a graduate certificate program in vocational rehabilitation working with individuals who are blind and visually impaired from Mississippi State University. Julie has over 12 years of experience in her field.
Julie believes it is an honor to inspire individuals to unlock inner-wisdom and grow deeper connections with themselves and their communities. She feels humans are programed to find meaning, self-identity, and community through their work. Julie is equipped with the skills of active listening, empathy, compassion and genuineness to help others evaluate their goals and values as driving forces to living authentic, fulfilling lives. Another professional interest of Julie's involves promoting professional resilience among practitioners in the workforce through practicing self-care. In her spare time Julie loves hiking, forest bathing, and photography.
