Jodie Boisvert, MPA is a Senior Volunteer Engagement Specialist with the South Florida Region of the American Red Cross. She is a recent graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a Master of Public Administration. Mrs. Boisvert also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Anthropology. Mrs. Boisvert specializes in volunteer management and is also experienced in grant writing, program design, implementation, and evaluation along with research principles.
Filled with compassion, Mrs. Boisvert immediately joined the non-profit sector after graduating from University of South Florida in 2010. She has held a variety of direct service and management positions within non-profit organizations. She began her career with the American Red Cross as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Instructor. She then moved into serving disadvantaged youth as a youth program facilitator. Her skills were identified, and she was quickly promoted to program coordinator where she learned the art of grant writing. Mrs. Boisvert then achieved a position as a grant writer with the United Way of Palm Beach County.
After years of gaining experience and new skills, Mrs. Boisvert is back with the American Red Cross. She strives for excellence and is eager to develop new skills. Mrs. Boisvert has a passion and excitement for learning and can always be found with a professional development book or taking training on project management, leadership, research principles, fundraising, or anything else that peeks her interest. Mrs. Boisvert is always seeking new opportunities to make the world a better place. She is most passionate about studying different cultures and helping the community. She is working towards finding that perfect career that will marry all of her biggest passions into one ideal position. In her spare time, Mrs. Boisvert enjoys traveling the world and spending time with her family and new husband.
