Jessica White is a native Houstonian and the daughter of Colombian and Irish immigrants. She currently serves as an immigration attorney for Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, a global immigration law firm. In her current practice, she primarily assists companies and their employees with their nonimmigrant visa applications, applications for permanent residency, and citizenship. She has previously represented unaccompanied minors fleeing violence in Central America, asylum seekers, and victims of violent crime.
Jessica is a member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association and the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston. Jessica is also a Precinct Chair for the Harris County Democratic Party. She attended Langham Creek High School in the Cy-Fair Independent School District, studied History and Latin American Studies at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, and obtained her law degree from the Charles Widger School of Law at Villanova University in 2012. In her free time, Jessica dances Argentine tango. She is passionate about Houston's diversity and wants to ensure that the city continues to be a welcoming place for all people.
