Jerry Lightfoot
Drug Program Manager, Department of The Interior

Jerry Lightfoot is a senior drug program manager for the Department of The Interior. Jerry oversees the alcohol and drug programs for multiple federal agencies. He has been on the forefront of drug testing since January 2016 and has written policy letters as well as developed more efficient testing procedures. A native of the great state of New York, Mr. Lightfoot has given 16 years of dedicated service in the United States Army. He has proudly served this country, going on multiple combat tours to Afghanistan and several other locations across the Middle East. Outside of the office, Jerry has started three profitable companies that has allowed him to switch roles from executive to entrepreneur. The Laura Lightfoot Foundation Incorporated was founded by Mr. Lightfoot in honor of his mother after her transition following a lengthy bout with cancer. He leveraged his status in the community to create an organization committed to the mentorship, education, health, and well being of young women. Jerry has many ideas for new inventions as well as businesses. He has promised that 2020 will be spent cultivating and bringing these ideas to fruition. Jerry is a graduate of Florida A & M University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in acquisition and contract management at Strayer University. Mr. Lightfoot believes that his family keeps him grounded and motivates him to take on the world every single day. He resides in Clinton, MD with his beautiful wife Pilar and three amazing sons Isaiah, Dominic, and Lourden.
