Jeremy Katz was born and raised in San Diego, CA and relocated to beautiful Colorado after college. He spent a few years living in the mountains and teaching kids to snowboard in the winter, while traveling around the world in the summer. Jeremy moved to Denver, CO in 2013 to pursue career opportunities in non-profit programing. Jeremy's professional experience has been focused on positive youth development, workforce development, and economic development.He currently serves as the Education Manager at Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute (RMMFI), where he oversees curriculum and program development & delivery to existing and aspiring small business entrepreneurs. RMMFI is a business incubator and community development financial institution, which exists to support the growth and economic mobility of under-resourced entrepreneurs through education, mentorship, and capital. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys all the great outdoor activities Colorado has to offer - snowboarding, hiking, camping, biking, and rock climbing. He is passionate about being civically engaged and making an impact in his community through empowering and lifting up others. While traveling, Jeremy's favorite activities involve taking lessons from locals. He has learned to make sushi in Japan, salsa dance in Cuba, scuba dive in Panama, and hunt for truffle mushrooms in Italy.
