Jen Ramos is an activist, communications professional and organizer.
Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, she moved to Austin 4 years ago to pursue politics full time and is actively involved with Young Democrats at the local, state, and national level. In 2017, Jen was appointed as Communications Director of the Texas Young Democrats, leading one of the largest social media followings for Young Democrats in the country.
Jen currently holds various leadership positions including Texas National Committeewoman for the Young Democrats of America, SDEC Committeewoman for Senate District 21, and President of the Austin Young Democrats, the first Latina to hold the role.
Jen works as a communications professional, specializing in intersectional messaging and bilingual outreach. She has been interviewed by NPR and the Washington Post, published by Teen Vogue, and quoted in various publications.
She now resides in Austin, Texas with her chihuahua Roscoe and devotes her time to advocacy and political organizing.
