Henry Adebisi is an achiever that is dedicated to creating an inclusive society that accounts for everyone's basic needs and allows for everyone, regardless of identity, to truly flourish. As a first generation Italian immigrant, Henry is reminded daily of the privilege he has been given and hopes to wield that to create a better world for those after him. Previously, Henry interned for Public Allies Twin Cities as an Events Coordinator and Researcher, and worked as a Program Assistant at the Gustavus Adolphus College Diversity Center. Henry currently works in the General Counsel's Organization of Ameriprise Financial as a Compliance Associate, where he is also the chair of the General Counsel's Organization Diversity and Inclusion Training Group. Henry volunteers at the MN ACLU, and is a frequent political podcaster discussing things such as mass incarceration, environmental justice, and how to create a more inclusive political action. Henry is a first generation college graduate from Gustavus Adolphus College, with a BA in Political Science. Henry is very grateful for his education as it gave him the ability to voice his thoughts, and challenged him to be a continual learner. Henry hopes to further his education to further aid people who are marginalized, and wants to be part of the coalition that creates progressive and accountable communities.
