As a native of Columbus, Ohio, Greg is passionate about contributing to the equitable growth and sustainability of his hometown. Over the last two decades, he has been a high school wrestling coach, community volunteer, and mentor with a strong sense of civic responsibility. He believes deeply in the importance of knowledge-sharing as a means to elevate people’s understanding and awareness of the critical issues and opportunities in Columbus.

After graduating from Ohio University with a B.S. in Health Administration, he earned an entry-level position with Florida Hospital and developed from an unpaid intern, to Clinic Manager in less than one year. Upon returning from a military deployment, he completed a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, and started a small business before joining Accenture in Chicago, IL. Greg developed into a Consulting Executive within Accenture’s Healthcare practice before adapting his experience to help build the Columbus Innovation Hub. Here, he leads client teams in their efforts to build software more efficiently. In addition to enabling clients to develop more efficient software applications, Greg leads the African-American Employee Resource Group for the Midwest Region.

Greg also has a thriving 18+ year career in the Air Force Guard/Reserve. He served at a number of U.S. bases as an Aircraft Electrician with various special duty assignments, going above and beyond the call of duty. Earlier this year, these efforts helped him earn a promotion to 2nd Lieutenant at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in the Force Support Squadron.

Outside of Accenture and the military, he serves the community in a number of ways: President of the Columbus Recreation & Parks Commission, Board Member for New Leaders Council, Vice President of Berwick Civic Association, Commissioner for the Mideast Area Commission, and Member of his local Restorative Justice Circle.
