Gianina Chua was born and raised in the Philippines and immigrated with her family to the United States in 2009. Currently, she works at Northeastern University School of Law as the Centers of Excellence's Administrative Coordinator. As the Administrative Coordinator of the Centers of Excellence, she works alongside community organizers, leaders, and experts in finding innovative and holistic solutions to social justice challenges. Prior to joining Northeastern University School of Law, Gianina was the Communications Director for Worcester State Representative James O'Day, where she served Worcester constituents and handled State Rep. O'Day's public affairs.
Outside of her day job, Gianina volunteers and co-leads the Asian American Women's Political Initiative (AAWPI), which is the only political leadership organization building the pipeline for Asian American women in government. Gianina graduated with a degree in Political Science from Boston College.
