Data Analyst, WI Department of Children and Families
Eunice Hong is a Data Analyst with the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families where she serves the children and their families involved with the Wisconsin foster care system. She primarily works on analyzing data, creating reports and managing dashboards that are used by county, state, legislative, and external stakeholders. Prior to her current position, she was the Project Coordinator with the American Academy of Pediatrics where she worked to improve immunization and antibiotic prescription practices through quality improvement data methods. Eunice graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Public Health. While at U of I, Eunice was a graduate assistant with her campus’ health education center. In that role, she worked to address specific health issues experienced by marginalized groups. She was also an early childhood care coordinator on her campus. Through these two experiences in her academic career, her passion in serving children and improving child health and well-being outcomes sparked and guided her to professional life today. In Eunice’s free time, she likes to read, try out new cooking and baking recipes with her husband, and is an aspiring woodworker. You can find Eunice exploring walking trails with her two rescue dogs, Pocky and Olive. Lastly, Eunice enjoys spending her time fostering and/or helping dogs find their forever homes with Fetch WI.
