Eric Meyers was born and raised in Abington, a small suburb north of Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in the spring of 2017. While a student he majored in Corporate Communication with a minor in Psychology. He immediately got involved with Student Government and THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, which raises money to fight pediatric cancer. As a member of THON he became the Family Relations Director during his junior year being the liaison between the school organization and the family members. He also joined a small research team and crafted a presentation titled "International Students' Perceptions: Sociolinguistic Factors and Engagement with American Students". Eric also served as the Student Representative on the Academic Integrity Committee and reviewed violations of the Academic Code of Conduct.
After graduating from university, Eric took a job with Reed Technology working on patents and learning about intellectual property in the process. After a little more than a year, he moved to Lake Worth with relatives. Once there he quickly joined the Palm Beach County Young Democrats and also started volunteering with Habitat For Humanity events. Eric currently works for ProVest, LLC, in Greenacres, Florida where he deals with a myriad of legal documents received from attorneys as well as Clerks of Court. This work deals in the legal area of contracts and indebtedness and has furthered his interest in legal education. He is currently applying to several Florida Law schools and hopes to find rewarding work in governmental or public interest law.
Eric is a big sports fan, loves animals, especially his dog Willow, who lives back in Pennsylvania, and only slightly misses the cold weather.
