Dominique Lane

Dominique Lane was born in Huntsville, AL and raised by her beloved grandmother. Though she was brought up in humble circumstances, Dominique was always encouraged to chase her dreams. From her grandmother, she learned the value of faith, hard work, resourcefulness, and kindness. These lessons and traits are the foundation upon which she has built her life.

Dominique graduated from S.R. Butler High School in 2009. In 2013 she received her B.A. in Political Science from Oakwood University. While in college, Dominique participated in student government and community outreach. In 2013, Dominique married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Cai Lane. Together, they have mentored several at risk youths

Recently, Dominique achieved her lifelong dream of becoming an attorney. She graduated from UALR W.H. Bowen School of Law in 2018. While in law school, Dominique participated in student government and was elected to Moot Court. She obtained her license to practice law in 2019 and is now a staff attorney with the Center for Arkansas Legal Services.

Dominique has always had a heart for helping others, particularly those who grew up like she did. She is passionate about affordable housing and providing formerly convicted citizens with a real opportunity to successfully reenter society. Dominique hopes to use her education and skills to improve the quality of life in her community.
