A program implementer, mentor, and entrepreneur, Diping Huang's goal is to work with others to break down barriers and make the community a more forward-thinking place.
Having started her career at Bellevue University, she has seen the importance of the transformational value of education. As a higher education professional, she believes that students should have equal opportunities to access quality education, reach their full potential, and succeed. Along with her colleagues, they designed and implemented innovative and effective scholarship practices that impact the ability of first-generation college students to access and be successful in higher education. In 2017, their work was recognized by the National Scholarship Providers Association. She also serves and volunteers with multiple national and local scholarship committees such as the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, the Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund, TheDream.US, and the Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund.
Besides her work, she has been blessed with opportunities to serve the local community. Some of her community involvements include mentoring youth from low-income households, advocating for the equality of disadvantaged groups, and promoting cultural enrichment and mutual understanding in the community. She is a member of Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert's Millennial Advisory Committee, a founding member of the One Community Cultural Festival, and the Vice President of the Nebraska Chinese Association. `
Through her volunteer experience, Diping has learned that emerging technologies can help underserved populations gain access to opportunities. She started her entrepreneurial journey and founded INFO & IMPACT. INFO & IMPACT aims to empower organizations that focus on creating positive and sustained impact. By leveraging cloud-based technology solutions, INFO & IMPACT identifies ways to measure the organizations' development progress, and design innovate solutions to accelerate business growth. An important part of her work is to assist international nonprofit organizations and healthcare professionals to evaluate and demonstrate the impact of their community initiatives. She was humbled to receive the Tom and Annie Pratt Entrepreneurial Award in 2019.
Diping earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2012 and Master of Business Administration in 2016 both from Bellevue University.
