Denick Geffrard was born in Princeton, New Jersey to Haitian immigrants. She earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Florida State University. After working as a Case Manager at an Aids Service Organization for six years she decided to pursue a career in nursing. Denick completed her Associate’s in Nursing from Keiser University. She will graduate December 2018 with her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of West Florida. Denick is currently employed as a Registered Nurse by PopHealthcare and Broward Health Medical Center. Denick has extensive experience that includes correctional nursing, telemetry, step down, in hospital case management as well as field case management. Denick is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA) and the Urban League Young Professionals Network. In her spare time Denick enjoys going on medical missions. She has participated in several medical missions to Haiti and Immokalee, FL.
