Daphnee Uter is originally from Port Au Prince, Haiti. She served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Camden. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, she earned a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Services from Florida Atlantic University and a master's degree in Business Administration from South University. Daphnee is a small business owner and the Founder of One Life To Live Foundation, a non-profit organization. She is passionate about her role as a woman veteran and her community. She wants to be a voice for women veterans that are suffering in silent and to raise awareness about women caregivers. She believes that women caregivers need support as they continue to touch other people's life. Her plan is to continue serving women veterans, women spouses and caregivers of veterans and her community.
She is an active member in the West Palm Beach community and has volunteered for various non-profit organizations. She has a total of ten years of federal service through many roles in the health care sector. Her career includes roles in health care administration, business administration, health information and privacy, health policies, Freedom of Information Act, and nonprofits. She is currently a member of the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, American College of Healthcare Executives, Women in Communication Florida Chapter, and recently graduated from the Woman on the Run program in Palm Beach County.
She enjoys supporting community events, volunteering and networking. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading a good novel.
