Danielle Price
Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services

Danielle Price was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in Largo, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minor in Education from the University of Central Florida in 2014, a Master of Science in Education Policy from Florida State University in 2015, and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University in 2018. Danielle began her professional career as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher in Gadsden County where she passionately served for two years before relocating to teach in Orange County Public Schools for two subsequent years. In June of 2018, Danielle began to utilize her education background in a different capacity when she became a Training Specialist at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. One year later, in June of 2019, Danielle was appointed to serve as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion, under the leadership of Florida's 12th Agriculture Commissioner, Nicole "Nikki" Fried, where she works to ensure that Florida's Agriculture industry represents the unique needs of all people throughout the state. In addition to her full-time position with the State of Florida, Danielle owns her own Real Estate business that has allowed her the opportunity to successfully help many local families achieve their homeownership goals. Danielle continues to utilize her education background by also teaching an online course at Ashford University. There, she helps first-year students remain confident about their educational journey. Danielle's professional and community accomplishments have recently earned Danielle a coveted spot in the University of Central Florida's 2019 Top 30 Under 30 Class for Young Alumni Award. Outside of work, Danielle remains involved in the community as the Philanthropy Chair for the Tallahassee UCF Alumni Club, Career Source Capital Region Governance Committee Member, Guardian Ad Litem volunteer, tutor, and mentor.
