Danielle Dalton is a higher education professional with 7+ years' experience in career services, academic advising, coaching, leadership and teaching. Her professional mission is to guide and inspire as a coach and a mentor. In every role she holds, Danielle provides exceptional support, quality academic coaching, effective career counselling and cooperative classroom instruction to help students and employees achieve their goals. Danielle is currently a Team Lead managing a group of Career Service professionals as her Alma Matar, Southern New Hampshire University.
Danielle graduated in 2012 with a double major in psychology and communications. She then pursed her masters in higher education administration, completing it 2016, focusing on career services support for adult learners. Prior to becoming a Team Lead, she worked as an Internship Administrator, assisting hundreds of students a year in finding experiential education opportunities. Her own educational experiences have helped her in realizing her passion for assisting adult learners as they try to accumulate experiential education opportunities in an ever-evolving workforce landscape. She is currently the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 President of the New England Association for Cooperative Education and Field Experience.
Danielle enjoys giving back to her community in several different ways, including working with newly migrated individuals and other local nonprofits that support children and families. As a vivacious reader, she is consistently seeking knowledge and expanding her skill base by taking in as much as she can from her experiences and giving back each day.
