Daniela Ramirez is the Director of Multicultural Communications for Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund. She oversees the work of the Multicultural Communications team, setting the strategy for executing national media engagement opportunities to strengthen engagement with communities of color. In this role, she also leads Planned Parenthood's public organizational responses to cross-movement issues, including but not limited to: immigration, racial justice, workers' rights, and voting rights. As a founding member of Planned Parenthood's Race Equity Initiative (REI) coach, she conceptualized an REI Communications Style Guide: a tool developed to help guide the broader Communications team to develop a racial justice lens throughout the development and review process of communications materials.
In her personal time, Daniela is a proud member of the Dance Rebels' Collective, a collaborative choreography and performance group performing around NYC and a Catchafire volunteer where she offers communications services to small women-led businesses and organizations free of charge.
