Currin Wallis is dedicated to immigrant justice and advocacy in Louisiana. She graduated from the Tulane Stone Center in 2016 with a focus on immigration, race and human rights before working in social services. As a case manager, Currin connects newly arrived or reunified families to community resources and supports the navigation of social and legal systems in Louisiana. She is a defender of civil and human rights, advocating alongside families for better language access, increased education supports and against discrimination. Currin believes in the power of diversity, humility, and movement through organizing, activism, and dance.
