Cornelia Dean

Cornelia Dean is a corporate, transactional attorney for Integrated Dermatology, a medical practice acquisition and management company headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, Cornelia focuses on business acquisitions, lease agreements, employment agreements and a host of operational matters.

Cornelia is originally from Leesburg, Florida, which is north of Orlando, Florida. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Florida, where she was a double major in Psychology and Classics. Following her time at UF, Cornelia attended Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. During law school, Cornelia gained a myriad of legal experience by performing internships with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the Civil Division of the US Attorney’s Office, and two private law firms. While in law school, she was also very active in a number of student organizations, including the Black Law Students Association, the law school student government, and Northeastern University’s Student Conduct Board.

Cornelia decided to purse the New Leaders Council fellowship to become a true agent of change in both the community and the legal profession. Cornelia aspires to use the knowledge gained from NLC as well as her law degree to actively support and contribute to organizations that focus on community economic development, specifically small businesses and affordable housing. In her spare time, Cornelia enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching Fixer Upper on HGTV.
