Chiedozie Okafor

Chiedozie Eric Okafor is a native of Dallas, Texas, who after a 12 year hiatus returned in 2016 to be closer to his family and give back to the community in which he grew up in. He has a bachelor's degree in biology from Texas A&M University. He also received his MBA and a Master in Higher Education from the University of Michigan. Chiedozie has spent his career as a consultant, primarily working for Huron Consulting Group and Boston Consulting Group. In his time with these organizations, he has supported clients across various industries, including healthcare, education, tech, consumer, and energy and functional areas of strategy, PMO, performance improvement, people/culture, and organization. Chiedozie is currently transitioning from consulting into the private sector, in order to have more time for passion projects and community involvement.

In addition, Chiedozie also hosts and is the creative director for a podcast called "I Think I Love My Wife," where the inner workings of relationships are explored and a platform is created for men of color to discuss the mental burdens that stem from societal pressures, generational curses, gender related norms, and personal expectations while on their journey to and within marriage. He is also in the process of launching a non-profit focused on more targeted charitable giving related to supporting people with education, poverty, addiction, and mental health issues.
