Brittani Carter-Durant spearheads the community engagement and outreach for the Trinity Park Conservancy, a nonprofit organization tasked with the unique role of championing the transformation of the Trinity River as the heart of Dallas through the development of Harold Simmons Park. With the goal of it becoming a space that enriches lives through access to nature, while also creating inclusive and equitable economic opportunities Brittani collaborates with community members, business owners, and organizations to ensure civic input is prioritized.

Brittani received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Business from the University of Missouri. Prior to her role with the Conservancy, Brittani excelled managing strategic partnerships, communication and digital marketing efforts for Amazon and other large corporations. Her innate ability to connect with diverse audiences combined with her commitment to supporting business objectives with marketing, communication, and branding solutions allows for a synergistic result.

Outside of work Brittani spends her free time mentoring young women impacted by homelessness, advocating for survivors of sexual violence and is an inaugural member of the Hockaday Young Alumnae and Our Friends Place Emerging Professionals. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her two dogs, traveling with her fiancé, photography, and all things culinary.
