Ashley Wright, Esq. is a skilled litigation attorney and currently serves as in-house staff counsel for Geico General Insurance Company. Ashley has an extensive amount of criminal and civil litigation experience and has tried over 50+ jury trials from voir dire to verdict.
Although she practices insurance defense law full-time, Ashley is equally dedicated to empowering and uplifting the lives of girls and young women in her community. She works tirelessly to challenge the media’s longstanding perceptions of beauty and recently founded “Worthy of the Crown Pageant Coaching” --- a full-service pageant consulting business where she works to instill the importance of self-awareness and reflection and encourages clients to embrace all aspects of beauty. Ashley also serves as a consultant for “Beauty Counter” – a company committed to putting truth back into beauty by uprooting the industry in the U.S. and advocating to get safer products into the hands of everyone. Ashley has developed “Beauty the Wright Way” – a brand that seeks to focus these efforts while encouraging young women to acknowledge their beauty, recognize their power, and effect change.
Ashley earned her Juris Doctorate in 2015 from the University of Georgia School of Law and her B.S. in Psychology, cum laude, from the University of Florida in 2012. As an attorney and entrepreneur, Ashley is dedicated to both her career and her daily pursuit to positively enrich the lives of those in her community. During her spare time, she volunteers with LANES, Inc. – a not for profit organization dedicated to [l]oving, [a]ssisting, [n]urturing, [e]ducating, and [s]upporting teenage girls. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She also serves as a member of the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, the Central Florida Urban League of Young Professionals and the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association.
