Angela Chambliss

Angela Chambliss serves as an Information Technology Project Manager for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases. Angela has a consistent leadership portfolio for building teams, strengthening performance, and strategic planning. Angela is an Innovation Champion who has a multi-million dollar project portfolio of IT investments organization wide which have been recognized for increasing innovation in business services and modernization transformation in using disruptive technology to bring rapid data analysis on public health response efforts saving lives.

As a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) Advocate, Angela socializes her passion and commitment to being fulfilled as a servant leader in every aspect of her life. Advocating STEAM education and empowerment to under privileged communities through her Non-Profit, the Angels and Me Foundation, also known as AngelsNTech, Angela has been featured in South Fulton Lifestyle Magazine, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and VoyageATL highlighting the continued success of her program.

AngelsNTech is a mentoring organization designed as a pipeline for underrepresented women to become the next generation of technology leaders within our community. With a mission of "Entrepreneur Empowerment, Mentorship, and Innovation", AngelsNTech continues to build character, integrity, and confidence in leaders who will contribute to the future of economic growth and sustainability for Atlanta.

Angela is a President's Second Mile award recipient and graduate of Savannah State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Technology. Angela is also a graduate of Georgia State University with a Master of Science in Computer Science.

In the community, Angela serves as a Board Member for the Harriett Tubman School of Computer Science and Technology, Communications Committee Chair for Junior League of DeKalb County, and lifelong member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Angela greatly enjoys spending family time with her amazing husband, Chris and energetic daughter, Amari Rose.
