Andrew Heaton

Andrew Heaton is a Business Development Manager with Fenwick & West LLP, an AmLaw 100 firm focused on tech and life sciences, with offices in in CA, WA, and NY, and with clients located around the country. Andrew works from his home office here in Atlanta while helping manage business development efforts in the New York office. He moved to Atlanta in 2016 from the Bay Area after his wife took a position with Sibley Heart Center and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Andrew began getting deeply involved with Democratic and Progressive efforts while living in the Bay Area. He served as an officer in numerous organizations in the Bay Area, including the Peninsula Young Democrats and the Peninsula Democratic Coalition. He also served as Treasurer on the campaign for a first-time Progressive candidate to the Palo Alto City Council, a race won by under 100 votes.

Since moving to Atlanta, Andrew has immediately gotten involved with Democratic and Progressive efforts. He currently serves as Vice President of DeKalb Young Democrats. He is the Chair for the House District 82 Committee of the DeKalb Democratic Party. He is also a member of Red Clay Democrats. Andrew volunteered with numerous campaigns as well during the 2018 cycle, and could often be seen on the trail with his 6-year-old daughter in tow.

Outside of politics, Andrew is involved with numerous civic and volunteer organizations. He serves on the National Executive Council of his fraternity, Alpha Kappa Lambda. He is Vice President of his neighborhood organization, the North Briarcliff Civic Association. He serves on the Citizens Advisory Committee for the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport Master Plan. He is also a member of the Atlanta Local Steering Committee for the Legal Marketing Association.

Andrew Heaton was born in Evansville, IN, but spent the majority of his life in Mobile, AL. He received his BBA in Marketing from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, AL. He received his JD/MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and McKinney School of Law. He is married to Dr. Holly Bauser-Heaton, MD,PhD, a Pediatric Cardiologist with Sibley Heart Center and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. They have one daughter, Grace, a first grader at Cliff Valley School.
