Born and raised in Northern Kentucky, Andy Brown is the proud child of a U.S. Navy and fire fighting family. The past five years have led Andy across the country following his passions of grassroots community organizing, the advancement of human rights —specifically voting rights, poverty issues, the abolition of the death penalty —and other progressive initiatives. Notably, he has organized communities in Boone County for the Kentucky Democratic Party (2014), Prince William County and Manassas for Jeremy McPike's VA State Senate campaign (2015), Iowa, Colorado, Arizona, Rhode Island, Kentucky, and Ohio for Hillary Clinton's Presidential campaign (2016), Tamaya Dennard's Cincinnati City Council campaign (2017), Jill Schiller's Congressional campaign (2018), Andy Beshear's gubernatorial campaign where he oversaw Northern and Western Kentucky (2019).
Andy is a first generation college graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs. He also received certificates in International Human Rights and Security Studies. Andy enjoys travel, health, and reading and currently lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
