Alicia Johnson
Volunteer and Family Services Coordinator, South County Habitat for Humanity

Alicia Johnson graduated as a first-generation college student from the University of Rhode Island in 2015, with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Leadership Studies. Once she graduated she was immediately hired by a local Habitat for Humanity affiliate, and currently serves as a Volunteer and Family Services Coordinator. She has been with this organization for four years and enjoys her responsibility to continue strengthening volunteer and homeownership programs through community outreach, public speaking events, social media management, volunteer engagement, advocacy, and networking.

Alicia truly believes everyone deserves the opportunity that comes with safe, decent and affordable housing. She looks forward to strengthening her relationships with fellow leaders in Rhode Island and collaborating with local advocates, volunteers, community partners, and lawmakers to address the critical need for affordable housing in the Rhode Island community.

In her free time, she enjoys the variety of scenic views in beautiful Rhode Island and trying new local restaurants.
