Alexa Vazquez was born in New York City and moved to Rhode Island at the age of nice with her mom and dad. She is the first in her family to graduate college. Alexa is currently pursuing her master's degree at Rhode Island College. Throughout her undergrad, she quickly realized her passion for law, cases, but most importantly, the wrongfully convicted. She is also an alumni from Young Voices and was a research assistant at RIC for her final semester as an undergrad. When it comes to academics, her favorite subject is writing and she also enjoys reading on her free time. Alexa hopes to some day be a lawyer for the wrongfully convicted but has higher hopes of becoming the United States first female president.
