Akhenaton's motivation for working in government and politics was rooted in his upbringing while living in Detroit. Learning and understanding how essential community engagement and working with decision makers has been the driving force behind Akhenaton's passion for working in government. Government is the vehicle he wants to work through to make society a better place for all. As makers of policy it's the government leaders that affect outcomes for various industries. He believes once you find out why you're on this earth and decide how you want to leave the world better than you found it there is nothing that can stop you from being the best version of yourself. Living by the principles of helping others, being a lifelong learner, leading with integrity, and finding solutions to social problems is what keeps things in perspective for his life.
