Aja Croteau is a Research Associate with the Center of Innovation at The Council of State Governments. She has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Natural Resources from Berea College and is currently getting her Master in Public Administration through the Martin School at the University of Kentucky. Before joining CSG, Aja worked as the Communications Manager of the Tourism office in Berea, KY and on improving food security in rural Kentucky through the Summer Food Service Program at Grow Appalachia, an initiative of Berea College. Aja has experience in the non-profit sector and community development, and has a strong interest in programs that serve low-income, rural populations, particularly those addressing food security such as SNAP and WIC.
